Pride Events Planned For June 2022 In Downers Grove

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Equality Downers Grove (EQDG) has planned a number of events to celebrate Pride month in the village.

On June 6 at 7 p.m., a panel discussion on LGBTQIA+ Community Acceptance and Inclusion will be held at Downers Grove Public Library. The following community members will take part in the discussion:

• Andi Voinovich, who works as program leader for Youth Outlook
• Ashley O'Connor, an EQDG board member and a student at Downers Grove South High School
• Karen Taylor, Associate Principal of staff and students at Downers Grove South
• Dr. Erin Ludwick, Associate Principal of student services at Downers Grove North
• Leslie Sadowski-Fugitt, Downers Grove Village Council member and a volunteer at Youth Outlook's drop-in center
