Pub Church Celebrating its 10th Anniversary This Summer
Special worship service July 13th at The Fremont Bar & Grill

Ever heard of “Pub Church?” It’s a relatively novel concept — bringing the opportunity to worship to people to a nontraditional environment. At Sojourners Pub Church, you worship, pray, and join other believers in, well, a pub.
Sojourners Pub Church is celebrating its 10th anniversary on Sunday, July 13, at 12:30 pm at Fremont Bar and Grill at 1117 Fairview Avenue in Westmont.
The idea behind Pub Church came from Reverend Craig Felde, who is also pastor at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Woodridge. He started the ministry in 2015 at the former Tracy’s Tavern in Clarendon Hills. Accompanied by Every Day Grace, a band of talented local musicians who play a mix of rock, blues, original music, and even some “religious” tunes, Rev. Felde works to share God’s love with lessons from the Bible with modern-day takeaways. Patrons who may have stopped by for a beer and a burger often end up showing up next month for a modern worship experience that occurs outside a traditional house of worship.

Jesus said that whenever two or more gather in His name, He is present. We hope you’ll join us to celebrate our 10th anniversary on July 13. All who are interested in a closer relationship with God are welcome to attend, and find a place where you can refocus and re-energize for your journey through life, show up as yourself, and be inspired by the Word of the Lord.
Pub Church meets once a month at 12:30 pm at Shanahan’s in Woodridge, Pub 78 in Brookfield, and Dell Rhea’s Chicken Basket in Willowbrook. Check its website or its Facebook page for dates. http://www.sojopubchurch.com
