Rebels 12U Crowned Tourney Champions

The Downers Grove Rebels 12U were crowned champions of the Roselle Rocker Fall Bash Sunday October 13th .

The Rebels were undefeated in pool play earning a #1 seed going 3 - 0  allowing only 2 runs.  In Bracket play they defeated the Patriots of Arlington Heights 12- 0  in four innings.  In the semi-finals the Rebels faced the Roselle Rampage in what was a 1 -0 lead  through the third inning after which the Rebels exploded for 7 runs in the 4th and holding their opponents  in the fifth inning to seal the game disposing of them 8 – 0 to the championship game.  In the Championship game the Rebels faced the Wheeling Athletic Barn Stormers in a rematch from an earlier pool play game in which the Rebels defeated them 12 – 1.  The Rebels jumped out to an early lead and never looked back defeating them 8 – 0 to secure the Championship.
