Rotary GroveFest Returns to Downers Grove

Rotary GroveFest will take place from June 25-28 in downtown Downers Grove.

New this year will be a single price for unlimited rides for daytime hours. The normal ride tickets will still be available, along with early special pricing for 30 ticket sheets. Here are the ticket prices and specials available this year:

Thursday night:
“Sneak-a-Peek” Unlimited Rides for $25.00
5:30 - 10 p.m.

Friday:
Unlimited rides for $23.00
Noon - 5 p.m.

Saturday
Unlimited rides for $25.00
Noon - 5 p.m.

Sunday:
Last Blast! Unlimited rides for $25.00
Noon - 5 p.m.

Hours for all rides:
Thursday night: 5:30 - 10:00 p.m.
Friday and Saturday: Noon - 11 p.m.
Sunday: Noon - 10:30 p.m.

You can now get discounted tickets which are 30 tickets for $30, a savings of $7.50 per sheet and unlimited ride wristbands at the following locations:

• Downtown Management Corporation – 933 A. Curtiss Street
• Anderson’s Bookshop – 5112 Main Street
• Community Bank of Downers Grove – 1111 Warren Avenue
• My Special Toy Store – 5137 Main Street.

For you beer aficionados, the Rotary GroveFest Craft BeerFest will be a new event held June 27 from noon to 4 p.m.

Tickets are available online and are $40 per person and $15 for general admission designated drivers. This event will take place in the Wenzel Select Properties Entertainment and Beer Garden, and it is open to anyone 21 years and older. The Craft BeerFest area is just south of the railroad track and west of Main and east of Forest Avenues, just North of the Downers Grove Public Library. The Fest will feature music and food from all the street vendors from Rotary GroveFest.

The Craft BeerFest will feature more than 100 unique beers from over 35 craft breweries around the country. A portion of the proceeds will help with the Rotary Club of Downers Grove and their donations to local and regional and global not-for profits.

Ticket-holder will receive:

• 18 Samples of your choice of over 100 Craft Beers*

* To stay in compliance with Illinois liquor law, the Rotary GroveFest Craft BeerFest will be a ticketed event. Festival participants will receive 18 drink tickets each. Each drink ticket can be exchanged for a 3oz. All ticket sales are final – no refunds or exchanges.

Music will be plentiful with a diverse array of talent. Music will be enjoyed at two locations this year, the Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital Main Stage and Fishel Park’ Veteran’s Memorial Pavilion band shell, sponsored by Tobias Music. Daily lineups are listed online. Updates and any changes will be listed so be sure to check there on a regular basis.

For anyone interested in volunteering, the Rotary Club of Downers Grove is accepting volunteers online.
