Say Bonjour to Wheaton's French Market This Weekend

The French Market in Wheaton opens April 15, with hundreds of vendors selling colorful flowers, handmade goods and locally sourced produce.

WHEATON, IL — Downtown Wheaton will brim with European charms this weekend when its annual French market opens. For more than two decades, the Wheaton's open-air French market has enchanted the senses with homegrown produce, fragrant flowers and — of course —plump loaves of fresh bread.

Hundreds of vendor stalls will be stacked with colorful and exotic flowers, organic spices and handmade crafts. Visitors can also pick up imported cheeses and other authentic French eats. The selection will vary from week to week, so there's always something different to discover.

Wheaton's French Market, located at the intersection of Liberty and Main Streets, will be open every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. from April 15 through November 11. The outdoor mart is run by the Bensoudian family who operates 80 Parisian-inspired markets throughout Europe and the United States.
