School Supply Drive To Benefit Hope's Front Door
The school supplies drive will take place through Aug. 10.
DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Downers Grove Junior Woman's Club is holding a school supplies drive to benefit Hope's Front Door.
Donations can be dropped off at Evelyn Jane Boutique, 1008 Curtiss St., Downers Grove, through Aug. 10. The following new items are needed for the school supplies drive:
- Backpacks
- Five-ring binders
- Loose leaf paper
- Spiral notebooks
- Composition notebooks
- Pocket folders
- Fiskar scissors
- Colored pencils
- #2 pencils
- Mechanical pencils
- Pencil cases
- Pencil sharpeners
- Erasers
- Crayons, 24-pack
- Broad-tip washable markers
- Dry-erase markers
- Blue, black and red pens
- Highlighters
- Glue bottles and sticks
- Post-It notes
- Index cards
- Plastic rulers
- Hand sanitizer
- Compasses and protractors
- Calculators
- Small Kleenex packs
Hope's Front Door serves homeless residents and those who need financial assistance in Downers Grove, Darien, Lisle, Westmont, Willowbrook and Woodridge.
