SoCo Tahini

An incredibly tasty, smooth and creamy tahini that's available in three varieties – Artisanal Tahini, Tahini and Pesto and Tahini and Dates.

In a time when so much of the world is divided, you may be surprised to learn of a collaboration between two unlikely Middle Eastern communities to bring the most authentic version of the latest food crazes to the plates of Americans.

Israeli-born founders, Goni Light and Dana Harary, saw a gap in the market for tahini when they had moved to the U.S. As a kitchen staple for most of Mediterranean decent, they saw this as a great opportunity to bring the magic of tahini to America. With quality top of mind, Light and Harary partnered with sesame seed growers to source the best sesame possible and with a Palestinian tahini expert to slow roast and stone grind the seeds. The results? An incredibly tasty, smooth and creamy tahini that’s available in three varieties – Artisanal Tahini, Tahini and Pesto and Tahini and Dates.

Both Goni and Dana drive strong mission-lead core values and firmly believe in SoCo tahini’s ability to bring people together, which is why a portion of SoCo’s sales from every jar is donated to MEET, (Middle East Entrepreneurs of Tomorrow), a non-profit in full partnership with MIT that connects young Israeli and Palestinian students using the common language of technology and entrepreneurship.

SoCo Tahini is available for purchase at several grocery retailer and specialty stores across the U.S. and available for nationwide shipping when purchased at eatsoco.com.
