Summer Classic Car Shows Kick Off In Downers Grove
The first night will feature Ford, Edsel, Lincoln, and other classic cars.
DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Now that the weather is warm, residents can expect to see a slew of sleek, vintage cars at the annual Summer Nights Car Show in Downers Grove. The car show buzzes with live music and gleaming rides every Friday from May 25 through August 31 along Main Street.
Opening night will feature Edsel, Ford (no Mustangs), Mercury, and Lincoln. Featured cars made before 1993 will be parked on Curtiss Street, according to a release from the village. Other vintage rides will be lined up along Main Street.
The Summer Nights Car Show's opening night will also feature live tunes from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Main Street Station.
