Suspect Tried To Ignite Port-A-Potty With Molotov Cocktail
Police say someone tried to light a Molotov cocktail inside a port-a-potty at a construction site in Downers Grove.
DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Police are looking for a suspect or suspects who attempted to light a port-a-potty on fire using a makeshift Molotov cocktail. The attempted arson took place at a residence in the 6500 block of Saratoga Ave. that is currently undergoing remodeling.
The owner of the residence told police the suspect(s) tried to ignite "a bottle with a paper wick" inside the port-a-potty. The port-a-potty was located in a driveway next to the home.
Police collected the evidence, but no suspects are in custody.
