Suspicious Man In Low Rider Honks Horn and Gestures At Teen To Call Him

A 16-year-old girl said that a man honked his horn and gestured for her to call him on the phone as he drove past her late Monday afternoon.

The girl told police she was walking down Main Street approaching Prairie Avenue around 5:32 p.m. when the man drove past her in an older gray or silver, 4-door Mitsubishi with a spoiler on the rear.

Police said the girl continued walking on Main Street and saw the car stopped at a red light. The man motioned for her to come to his car and also tried to call out to the girl before leaving the area heading west on Prairie Avenue.

The man is described as a male Hispanic, in his 20s, with a buzz cut and close cropped mustache and beard. He also had on a square-rimmed glasses and was wearing a navy blue sweatshirt.
