TEAM 66 Education Foundation Brings Famed Second City to Downers Grove

The TEAM 66 Education Foundation is proud to announce that it will be presenting Chicago’s legendary comedy theatre The Second City at Downers Grove South High School at 7:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 28th. This PG-13 performance of Second City’s Improv Allstars will feature an entirely improvised show based on audience suggestions.
All profits from the show will go towards funding the TEAM 66’s vision to enhance community support and to expand resources that enrich teaching, inspire learning, and maximize opportunities for all students of Center Cass School. In 2014, TEAM 66’s first year in operation, it awarded teaching grants to all 3 Center Cass schools and bringing The Second City to Downers Grove is the Foundation’s primary fundraiser for 2015.
Founded in Chicago in 1959, The Second City has become the premier training ground for the comedy world’s best and brightest and includes Bill Murray, Mike Myers, Steve Carrell, Stephen Colbert, and Tina Fey amongst its alumni. The Improv Allstars show will provide the audience with a chance to see comedy stars in the making along with absolutely hilarious satire and cutting-edge improvisation.
