Teens Rob Downers Grove Spa, Disable Surveillance Cameras, Damage Window: Cops
Police say three teens robbed employees at 7 Spa Massage at 1732 Ogden Ave. on Oct. 16.

DOWNERS GROVE, IL —Three teenagers robbed employees at a spa in Downers Grove, shattering a window when they violently shoved one employee. The robbery took place at 7 Spa Massage, located at 1732 Ogden Ave. on Oct. 16. just before 2 p.m., according to police.
The back door to the spa was kicked in and the three teens charged to the front of the store, flipped over a desk, and pulled out wires for the spa's surveillance cameras, according to Suburban Life Magazine. They then took a cellphone, cash, and wallets from three spa employees before fleeing.
During the robbery, one of the teens pushed an employee against the building's glass window, causing it to shatter.

A nearby resident in the 1600 block of Janet St. said told Downers Grove Police she saw the teens get into a green four-door car, possibly a Honda, that had been parked in her driveway, Suburban Life reports. A similar car was described in a LaGrange spa robbery that took place later that same day.
The suspects in the Downers Grove spa robbery were described as three black males, all teenagers.
