In its annual ranking of Valley of the Sun physicians, Scottsdale, AZ-based PHOENIX Magazine named eight Midwestern University osteopathic medical faculty and alumni as “Top Doctors” for 2014.
The list of Phoenix-area physicians with ties to Midwestern University includes graduates from both the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine (AZCOM) and the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine (CCOM); two of these alumni also currently serve in faculty positions at the University’s Glendale campus.
Those receiving recognition include Charles Finch, D.O. (Chair, Integrated Medicine, AZCOM); Paul Geimer, D.O. (CCOM 1975); Sara Giali, D.O. (AZCOM 2001); Kelly Luba, D.O. (CCOM 2001); Randall Ricardi, D.O. (CCOM 1984 and Clinical Assistant Professor, AZCOM); Carlton Richie III, D.O. (CCOM 1995 and Clinical Associate Professor, AZCOM); Vasif Sabeeh, D.O. (CCOM 1998); and Matthew Troester, D.O. (AZCOM 2002).

Additionally, the 2014 “Top Doctors” list contains the names of over 70 osteopathic and allopathic (M.D.) physicians who serve as preceptors and mentors to AZCOM medical students.
PHOENIX Magazine annually ranks the best resources in the Valley of the Sun. The publication also distributes the Medical Directory, a comprehensive guide to over 7,000 Arizona physicians. The “Top Doctors” selection is made from a peer review survey distributed among Valley physicians.
