Toyota Commercial, Filmed In Westmont, Debuts For Holiday Season

WESTMONT, IL — A touching Toyota holiday commercial that recently debuted begins in a familiar setting for locals: the Nature's Best Market grocery store in Westmont. The one-minute ad, which was partially filmed in Westmont, was posted to the Toyota USA YouTube page on Dec. 1.

In addition to the grocery store, local viewers may also recognize a brief shot of West Quincy Street.

The commercial, titled "Like No One's Watching," was filmed in September, which required crews to create a snowy holiday setting. The village's public works department helped add lights, wreaths and other accents to suggest a winter scene.

"Westmont made a perfect backdrop for the commercial,” Daniel Marcus, the production's locations manager, said in a statement.

Marcus added, "The village staff, businesses, and entire community were eager to help and the whole process went smoothly. I hope to use Westmont as a location for future film and video projects."

Representatives from the Village of Westmont and Nature's Best Market did not immediately respond to Patch's request for additional information or comments Wednesday afternoon.
