TribLocal Content to be Oursourced, Jobs Lost

Within the next three months, the Tribune Company's suburban coverage will be outsourced to media content provider Journatic.

According to the Chicago Tribune, roughly half of TribLocal's 40 staffers will have their positions phased out and 11 of their 18 reporters will be reassigned to the Tribune's suburban bureaus. The other seven will presumably lose their jobs.
