Truck Burglarized At X-Sport Fitness In Downers Grove

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Police in Downers Grove are looking for a suspect or suspects who burglarized a truck at X-Sport Fitness. According to police, four tires with chrome rims were stolen from inside the truck on Jan. 28.

The victim told police he parked on the east side of the X-Sport Fitness parking lot at approximately 2 a.m. When the victim returned to his vehicle just before 10 a.m., he discovered that someone had cut the heavy-duty zip tie that secured his truck's cargo compartment.

According to police, the victim said four tires with chrome rims were missing from inside the cargo compartment. The total loss was valued at $4,200.
