DOWNERS GROVE, IL — A truck with a snow plow and salt spreader attached was stolen from a business in Downers Grove, according to the Downers Grove Police Department crime blotter.

Police were called to 2701 Wisconsin Street around 5 a.m. on Feb. 4 for a report of a stolen vehicle. The caller told police a person wearing a mask had stolen a Ford F350.

According to the police report, surveillance video shows a man in grey sweatpants and a black jacket getting into the snow plow and driving it out of the parking lot.

The truck was later found in Countryside, with the snow plow kit removed. Police say a man was detained in connection with the incident.
