Two Physicians Join DuPage Medical Group

Downers Grove, Ill. – DuPage Medical Group, the largest independent, multi-specialty physician group in the Chicago area, recently welcomed two new physicians in its radiology and cardiology departments.

Dr. Erwin Thimm is a board-certified radiologist who earned a medical degree from Rush Medical School in Chicago and completed a residency in radiology at Indiana University Medical Center. He later completed a fellowship in mammography at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. A member of the American Medical Association, Thimm’s medical interests include mammography, breast ultrasound and breast cancer.

Dr. Jordan Weinstein joins DMG as a board-certified cardiologist specializing in cardiovascular disease. Weinstein earned a medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago and completed a residency in cardiology at the Institute for Healthcare Studies at Northwestern University. He later completed a fellowship in cardiology at Loyola University Medical Center. Weinstein brings more than 16 years of experience to DMG, and will see patients at DMG’s cardiology offices in Downers Grove at 3825 Highland Avenue, Suite 210, as well as in Elmhurst at 133 E. Brush Hill Road, Suite 210.
