Undercover Prostitution Sting At Red Roof Inn In Downers Grove
Police arrested a Rockford woman on charges of prostitution after an undercover sting at Red Roof Inn in Downers Grove.
DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Police arrested a Rockford woman on prostitution charges after an undercover sting operation at Red Roof Inn in Downers Grove. Hailey Hertenstein, 24, of Rockford, was taken into custody on Dec. 18 on the hotel grounds at 1113 Butterfield Rd.
According to police, a team of nine officers was involved in the operation and were staged "in and around Red Roof Inn room 257."
At around 6 p.m., Ms. Hertenstein allegedly agreed to meet perform one of the detectives to perform a sex act in exchange for cash. When the suspect returned to the meeting place, room 257, police apprehended her and took her into custody.

Hertenstein was processed and released on bond. She is scheduled to appear in court on January 24.
