"Verizon Staycation Road Trip" shines spotlight on Chicago
Chicago-based indie soul singer, JC Brooks helps launch inaugural episode, inviting viewers to explore the offerings of the Windy City.
On Monday, July 20th at 11 AM CT/12 PM ET, Verizon will launch the “Verizon Staycation Road Trip,” a virtual exploration of the 20 cities that helped build the nation’s most reliable network. The inaugural episode will spotlight the wireless provider’s first 5G city: Chicago, IL. Verizon correspondent and Chicago resident, Andy Choi will go live @VZUpToSpeed helping viewers explore some of the Windy City’s most noteworthy small businesses and local musical talent as only a local could.

Following Chicago, the “Verizon Staycation Road Trip” will embark on Minneapolis, Denver, Atlanta and other cities that made the network what it is today.
