Veronica Roth, Author of 'Divergent' Series, Coming to Downers Grove

Veronica Roth, author of the “Divergent” series, is coming to Downers Grove just days before the movie-adaptation of “Insurgent” hits the big screen.

Roth will be at the Tivoli Theatre at 2 p.m. March 14, presented by Anderson’s Bookshop. Tickets are $25, and each includes a pre-signed copy of ”Insurgent.” Tickets can be bought at Anderson’s Bookshop in Downers Grove or Naperville.

The author event will include a presentation, a Q&A and a screening of the “Divergent” film. There will not a be a signing line or photo line. Ten fans, plus one friend each, will be selected through a random drawing to meet Roth backstage and take a photo.

The “Insurgent” movie will premiere in theaters March 20.
