Wallet, Glasses Stolen From Vehicle In Westmont: Police
Police say the burglar(s) stole a wallet and other items from a car that had been left unlocked in the home's garage.
WESTMONT, IL — Police are looking for a suspect or suspects who stole a wallet, cash, and glasses from a car parked in a garage in Westmont. The incident was reported on April 12 in the first block of West End Ave., according to Westmont Police.
The victim told police that the burglary took place while the car had been left unlocked and unattended sometime between 7 p.m. on April 11 and 8:55 a.m. on April 12. Police say a wallet, cash, and a pair of glasses were stolen from inside the car.
The total loss was estimated at $1,016.
