Woman Carjacked At Knifepoint At Oak Brook Mall
Police say he tried to steal a woman's car and then stole a security vehicle.

OAK BROOK, IL --- A Florida man is facing felony charges in DuPage County for allegedly stealing a woman's car at knifepoint at the Oak Brook Mall. Anthony Riola, 39, was charged with armed violence, aggravated vehicular hijacking, and possession of a stolen motor vehicle in connection with the Dec. 29 incident.
Police say the woman was sitting in her car in the parking lot just before noon when Riola approached her and said, "Give me your car." He then allegedly pulled out a knife, which caused the victim to get out of her car.
Riola was unable to start the car because the woman had left with the keys, police say. Riola is accused of then approaching a valet parking attendant and stealing a running car.
