Woodridge Man Charged With Beating Woman At Downers Grove Arcade

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — A Woodridge father has been charged with aggravated domestic battery in a public place after he allegedly beat a woman while they were at an arcade in Downers Grove Friday. Police say Kavin Choice, 24, then took his 3-year-old daughter, who was present during the attack, out of the arcade and fled, according to Daily Herald.

Choice was later taken into custody and appeared Monday morning at DuPage County courthouse.

According to prosecutors, the victim suffered bruises and chipped teeth after Choice allegedly hit her face multiple times with "substantial punches," Daily Herald reports.

Choice is currently being held in DuPage County Jail; bond has been set at $7,500. He is scheduled to appear in court on March 14.
