Your Purpose Is Calling; Being released on September 20th, 2022

Dr. Dharius Daniels is both a spiritual and entrepreneurial man who understands the power of individual success and personal accomplishment.

Very few people have a strong sense of their own identity and are in touch with who they are. Instead, they are caught up with trying to fit in,” says Daniels. “Understanding your own unique identity is the foundational element for all of the good things we are looking for in our lives: love, peace, fulfillment, joy, and more.”

Your Purpose Is Calling is an inspirational, encouraging and practical guide that provides clear steps for anyone looking to overcome the obstacles that inhibit them from fully embracing themselves and living a life of purpose and direction:

  1. Emotional Obstacles: the first category of obstacles that prevent people from embracing their identity are the obstacles connected to the way we see ourselves—to what we believe about ourselves. Self-esteem issues and people-pleasing tendencies need to be addressed. Soul Wounds - it’s a moment we receive damage or an injury, not to our physical body, but to our soul. And in the same way physical injuries will fester if they are not treated properly and allowed to heal, soul wounds can become infected when they are never resolved. There are many kinds of soul wounds. Neglect. Abuse. Manipulation. Bullying. Trauma. Addiction. Failure.
  2. Relational Obstacles - The second category of obstacles that prevent people from embracing their identity is relational, which means obstacles that hinder us from embracing our true selves that originate in and are maintained by our relationships—typically our closest relationships. This happens when we allow other people to dictate who we are and what we are called to do rather than living out of our unique identity.
  3. Cultural Obstacles - The third category of obstacles to embracing our unique wiring is what I call cultural. Culture is one of those words with many different meanings to different people. Culture as the collection of values, priorities, and beliefs that are accepted by a majority of people in a specific region or location. Now when it comes to things like calling, purpose, and unique identity, we must understand there are certain ways of being and doing that are more celebrated and socially acceptable in a culture than others.
  4. Spiritual Obstacles - The final category of obstacles that hinder us from accepting and embracing who we are is spiritual. It is connected to the reality that you are an eternal being created for an eternal purpose.
