• Shiloh police investigate death of construction worker hit by vehicle (bnd.com) — A St. Clair County road worker with strong East St. Louis ties was killed Friday when a vehicle driven by a minor struck him at a construction site near Shiloh. Police and county officials are still investigating the crash and potential charges, while friends and family from East St. Louis and Swansea remember 55-year-old Murphy Rogers’ presence at gatherings and his deep family connections.
