• Schmidt highlights new transparency law and hosts job fair in East St. Louis (metroeastsun.com) — East St. Louis residents are getting a new state transparency law in 2027 that will make it easier to find local government financial and audit reports online. State Rep. Kevin Schmidt also just hosted a job fair at Wyvetter Younge Higher Education Campus, connecting 150 local job seekers with 50 employers and offering resume help and interview guidance as part of his ongoing outreach in the 114th District.

Kennedy, the racism he faced, and the controversial case that sent him to prison.
