Kaneland High School back in-person Wednesday after possible measles exposure shifted classes to virtual (chicagotribune.com) — Families who visited Next Generation Pediatric Clinic in South Elgin on Aug. 21 between 12:30 and 4 p.m. are being asked to monitor for measles symptoms through Sept. 8 after a confirmed Kane County case. Kaneland High School briefly shifted to virtual learning but has returned to in-person classes as officials verify vaccination records. Health authorities stress that vaccinated people face low risk but urge anyone unprotected or symptomatic to follow quarantine and call their doctor before seeking care.
