Elgin Area Chamber Of Commerce: U-46 To Host Job Fair On Nov. 20

Event aimed at bilingual and special education teachers, certified school nurses, social workers, and speech therapists.
 
ELGIN - School District U-46 is hosting a Job Fair on Saturday, Nov. 20 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at its Educational Services Center in Elgin. This event is aimed specifically at bilingual and special education teachers, as well as certified school nurses, social workers, and speech therapists. 
 
Same-day interviews will be available. Starting salaries for the jobs range from $50,000 to $70,000 (based on education and experience) and include a full benefits package and two-year mentor support program. Possible job offers with start dates effective immediately and early contracts for the 2022-2023 school year.

School District U-46 serves families in 11 communities: Bartlett, Elgin, Hanover Park, South Elgin, Streamwood and Wayne, as well as portions of Carol Stream, Hoffman Estates, St. Charles, Schaumburg, and West Chicago. In total, the District encompasses 90 square miles within the Fox River Valley, approximately 45 minutes west of downtown Chicago, and includes communities within Cook, DuPage and Kane counties.
