Kane County Sheriff's Office Sergeant Ron Hain is seen here presenting to a class at Elgin High School on Friday , October 13th.

Ron often volunteers his time presenting to high schools from Aurora to Elgin on the impact that drug trafficking has on local crime. Ron implemented programs under retired Sheriff Pat Perez that focused efforts on drug trafficking organizations transporting bulk dangerous drugs into Kane County. These efforts resulted in annual seizures of hundreds of pounds of contraband.

As Ron says about his presentations, "they're not a say-no-to-drugs speech, it's about awareness of the impact that the black market has on all of our safety north to south in Kane County".
