Fourth Person Charged With Murder In Fatal Stabbing: Police
Bayron Cruz-Garcia, 36, of South Elgin, was found bleeding in an Elgin parking lot in August. He later died at an area hospital.

ELGIN, IL -- A fourth suspect has been charged with the August murder of a 36-year-old South Elgin man who was stabbed to death in Elgin. Michael A. Giacomino, 31, of the 800 block of Bode Road in Elgin, was charged Thursday with first-degree murder for the fatal stabbing of Bayron Cruz-Garcia. His bail was set at $1 million in bond court in Kane County.
Giacomino joins three others who have been implicated in Cruz-Garcia's murder. Also charged with first-degree murder are Gabriel Lopez, 26, of the 2600 block of St. Charles St. in Elgin; Carlos Lopez, 29, of the 100 block of Birch St. in Carpentersville; and Ivette Rodriguez, 20, of the 1400 block of Keele Drive in Carpentersville. They trio was arrested days after Cruz-Garcia was found bleeding in a parking lot in the 1100 block of Jansen Farm during the early morning hours of Aug. 12.
Cruz-Garcia was taken to Sherman Hospital where he later died. Police have said they believe Cruz-Garcia was specifically targeted.

An ongoing investigation into the murder lead detectives to their fourth murder suspect and to Thursday's arrest of Giacomino.
