McTeacher FUNdraiser for Greenbrook Elementary School in Hanover Park.

Wednesday, March 22, the McDonald's on Lake St. in Hanover Park held their annual McTeacher's Night for Greenbrook Elementary School.

On Wednesday, March 22, the McDonald's on Lake St. in Hanover Park held their annual McTeacher's Night for Greenbrook Elementary School in School District 20. This is a night where the teachers work at McDonald's and a percentage of the school’s sales is then given to local school.

The staff from Greenbrook was very excited to serve their students and families freshly prepared meals. The Greenbrook staff worked jobs that included greeting guests, working the front counter, drive-thru, and selling pies for tips while dressed in a pie costume.

To make the night even more exciting, Ronald McDonald showed up to take pictures with the staff, students and their families.

A special thank you goes to PTO President, Michaele Post, who organized the entire event as well as all the staff who so graciously worked to help raise money for Greenbrook Elementary.

The PTO raised over $650.00 during this 3-hour event and plans to put the money in the PTO general funds to be distributed as needed for Student Activities.
