Oak Crest invites the community to enjoy food and music
Talented musician Vinnie Hunley and vocalist Tenesha Hunley to entertain guests, July 13 & Aug 10

Enjoying a meal with friends and making new ones is the goal of three dining opportunities at the unique Cellar Pub located in The Atrium at Oak Crest Residence, 204 South State Street, in Elgin. Oak Crest presents weekly Foodie Friday lunches, monthly Second Sunday Suppers and the return of the original popular monthly Third Monday Community Dinner.
“Dining with others in a casual atmosphere is invigorating for the well-being of others and a great way to bring people together for food, fun and conversation,” says Susan Cincinelli, executive director of The Atrium at Oak Crest Residence.
The Second Sunday Suppers from 3:00-5:00pm include a freshly prepared entree, soup, salad, dessert, and beverage. Admission is $20.00 per person.

One of the special treats to the Second Sunday Suppers, scheduled for July 13 and August 10, is the addition of live entertainment with the talented Vinnie and Tenesha Hunley.
An accomplished musician and published songwriter, Vinnie grew up in Carpentersville and attended Dundee-Crown High School. His fondest memories are performing with the Dundee Scots Imperial Band. “I played the trumpet and tuba with the Scots and that time being involved with the Scots was a very influential and important part of my life,” says Vinnie. “I still come out to the area regularly for casual time with Scots’ friends.”

His wife Tenesha, a talented vocalist, leads her successful family Hoskins Family Quartet, which is comprised of herself; daughters Kaylah Hoskins and Kyrah Hoskins and son Kieshon Reynolds.
“Our sole purpose is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ through song,” said Tenesha. “Our mixes of traditional gospel, urban contemporary, and more have produced a sound that’s uniquely ours.” The group has performed since 2008 in many venues, including Gospel Fest in Chicago.
Together, Vinnie and Tenesha, who were married this year on Valentine’s Day, bring their love of music in all forms to the delight of their audiences everywhere.
“We invite the public to enjoy a freshly prepared meal with us during our Sunday Suppers and have an opportunity to hear this amazing couple perform for us,” says Cincinelli. “Their warmth, energy, and passion for music is a treat for everyone.”
