Road Work On National Street Bridge To Cause Delays
The traffic delays are expected for the next two to three weeks.
ELGIN, IL -- Traffic near the National Street bridge in downtown Elgin should be slow-going in coming weeks due to maintenance work . The delays are expected to persist for the next two to three weeks, according to the city of Elgin Facebook page.
Two-way traffic will still be in place, but lanes will be shifted to provide a safe working area for crews. Drivers should plan extra time during their travels or use an alternate route, according to the Facebook post.
