2 Arrested For Carjacking At Knifepoint: Police
They were test driving a car when the girl pulled out a knife and told the owner to get out, police say.

ELGIN, IL — An 18-year-old man and a juvenile girl were arrested Monday evening after allegedly carjacking a vehicle they pretended to be interested in purchasing, according to a report.
Darius Polk, 18, and the girl are being accused of stealing the vehicle from the 300 block of St. Charles Street. Police received a call around 5:45 p.m. from a man who lived there, reporting the incident. He told investigators his vehicle was for sale and the two suspects were interested, the Chicago Sun Times reported.
While they test drove the car, the girl pulled out a knife, threatening the victim and ordering him to get out of the vehicle, according to the Sun Times, and Polk told him to give up his property.

Police then found the vehicle and the girl in the 200 block of Michigan Street. Officers set up a perimeter and got a K-9 unit to the scene. They found Polk in the first block of Center Street, the Sun Times reported.
Each are being charged with aggravated vehicular hijacking and armed robbery.

Polk, of Chicago's Southwest Side, is being held on $1 million bond and the girl was taken to Kane County Youth Home.
