• Three CMU softball players named to Heart Tournament Team (fayettenewspapers.com) — An Elkhart native, senior Madison Roberts, has been named tournament MVP after helping Central Methodist University win its Heart conference softball title, batting .545 with a home run. Alongside teammates Haley Cotter and Maddie Holly, Roberts powered CMU’s offense throughout the four-game run, delivering multiple extra-base hits and five RBI in Saturday’s key matchup against Missouri Baptist.
