106 MPH On Route 83 At Midnight Gets 21-Year Old A DUI: Cops
A 21-year-old man was clocked at more than double the speed limit in Elmhurst the other night.
ELMHURST, IL — A 21-year-old Clarendon Hills man is accused of driving more than 100 miles per hour on Route 83 just after midnight on Aug. 7. Elmhurst police charged Jonathan R. Ortiz with speeding and a DUI after stopping a car he allegedly drove near 83 and Butterfield Road.
Police said Ortiz failed all field sobriety tests and a breath test showed his BAC at .126.
