14U Cougars Ladies Win ASA Northern Nationals Birth!

Second sanctioned win for the Cougars thus far in 2014, this time a qualification to the Amateur Softball Association of American (AMA) Northern Nationals.

The Cougars 14U ladies scored their second tournament win of the 2014 post-IHSA season with a championship win at the 2014 Battle of the Bats tournament.  This represented the second sanctioned win for the Cougars thus far in 2014, this time a qualification to the Amateur Softball Association of American (AMA) Northern Nationals.   

The Cougars are, in alphabetical order, Heather Anderson, Hannah Bingham, Morgan Bojesen, Jessica Cwik (not pictured), Kaitlyn Falduto, Hunter Hoffman, Hanna Kikos, Allie Mullinger, Natalie Nowacki, Kati Potaczek, and Brianna Suchy.

This Cougar team is a member of the Elmhurst Cougars Baseball and Softball Club. Formed in 1992, the Cougars are Elmhurst’s oldest full-time youth travel baseball and softball organization. For their 22nd year the Cougars are fielding eight baseball and three fast-pitch softball teams for youth aged 8 through 15.
