2 Arrested In Elmhurst Retail Thefts: Cops
In another case, a man was cited on a charge of soliciting without a permit.

ELMHURST, IL – Elmhurst police arrested people on charges of burglary, retail theft, soliciting without a permit and DUI in recent days. Here is information from the reports:
Burglary
- JT Cash, 51, of Chicago, was arrested about 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Walgreens, 160 N. Robert Palmer Drive, on charges of burglary, retail theft, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of a handicapped parking space. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
- Luis A. Padilla, 62, of Maywood, was arrested about 2 a.m. Friday at CVS Pharmacy, 110 W. North Ave., on charges of burglary, retail theft and obstructing identification. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Soliciting without a permit

- A 53-year-old Chicago man was cited about 1 p.m. Thursday in the 400 block of East May Street on a charge of soliciting without a permit. Police said he was selling magazines.
DUI
- Eder Magana, 41, of Posen, was arrested about 4:30 p.m. Thursday at Lake and Walnut streets on charges of DUI and driving with a revoked license. Police said he was arrested as part of a hit-and-run investigation. Magana was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
- A 30-year-old Elmwood Park man was arrested Friday at Grand Avenue and Crown Road on charges of DUI, obstructing identification, possession of open alcohol and speeding. He was released.
- A 40-year-old Bolingbrook woman was arrested about 1 a.m. Sunday at Fair Street and St. Charles Road on charges of DUI and driving an uninsured car. She was released.
- A 36-year-old Chicago man was arrested about 1:30 a.m. Sunday at North and Emroy avenues on charges of DUI, improper lane usage, driving an uninsured car and failure to signal. He was released.
