2 Domestic Battery Arrests In Elmhurst: Police
In other matters, three were charged with DUI. One was asleep behind the wheel, according to a report.

ELMHURST, IL – Elmhurst police released their latest arrest log Thursday. Here is information from the reports:
Domestic battery
- A 57-year-old Elmhurst man who lives in the 400 block of South York Street was arrested Tuesday on two counts of domestic battery. Police said the man pushed another person during an argument at his house. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
- A 44-year-old Elmhurst woman who lives in the 700 block of North Michigan was arrested about 4 p.m. Wednesday at her house on two counts of domestic battery. Police said she battered a woman during an argument. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
DUI

- A 38-year-old Bloomingdale man was arrested about 10 p.m. Monday at Church Road and Grand Avenue on a DUI charge. Police said they responded to a report that the man was asleep behind the wheel. He was taken to the police station and released.
- A 27-year-old Maywood man was arrested about 9 p.m. Tuesday at York Street and Roosevelt Road on charges of DUI and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Police came into contact with the man because his car was disabled. He was taken to the police station and released.
- A 32-year-old Chicago man was arrested about 10 p.m. Tuesday near Walgreens, 160 N. Robert Palmer Drive, on charges of DUI, driving with a suspended registration, possession of open alcohol, improper lighting and driving an uninsured car. He was taken to the police station and released.
Warrants
- A 50-year-old Chicago man was arrested about 10:30 a.m. Monday in the 700 block of North Michigan Street on a Cook County warrant. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. Local police came into contact with the man after a report of a suspicious person.
- A 27-year-old Calumet City woman was arrested about 3:30 p.m. Monday at Church Road and Church Court on warrants. She was also charged with driving with a suspended license and improper passing on the left. She was released.
