2 Elmhurst Domestic Battery Arrests: Cops
In one case, a man ripped someone's shirt during an argument, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – In recent days, Elmhurst police arrested men on charges of domestic battery and retail theft. Here is information from the reports:
Domestic battery
- Adam Hearn, 43, of Lombard, was arrested about 11 p.m. Thursday in the 100 block of North Addison on two counts of domestic battery. According to a police report, Hearn battered a woman. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
- Ernesto Hernandez, 33, of Naperville, was arrested about 11:30 p.m. Sunday at First and Addison on charges of domestic battery and unlawful possession of a controlled substance. According to a police report, Hernandez ripped a person's shirt during an argument. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Retail theft

- Reginald D. Tolbert, 25, of Chicago, was arrested about Friday on two counts of retail theft. The incidents occurred about 9:30 p.m. Sept. 9 and 8 p.m. Sept. 21 at Jewel, 153 E. Schiller St. According to a police report, he stole six cases of Tito's vodka. He was found in the Lincolnwood Town Center in Lincolnwood. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Warrants
- Dylan Defabio, 20, of Rolling Meadows, was arrested about 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Sunnyside and St. Charles on a Cook County Sheriff's Office warrant and a charge of disobeying a traffic control device. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
- Christian D. Hill, 22, of Carol Stream, was arrested about 8 a.m. Friday on a DuPage County Sheriff's Office warrant and charges of failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, driving with a suspended license and possession of marijuana by a driver. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
- Tyler B. Lewis Jr., 29, of Addison, was arrested about 5 p.m. Saturday on a warrant. He was released on bond.
