2 Elmhurst Domestic Disturbances On Sunday

ELMHURST, IL – Elmhurst police said they responded to two domestic disturbances Sunday. Here is information from the reports:

• An Elmhurst man who lives in the 300 block of West Eggleston Avenue was arrested about 9 a.m. Sunday at his house on two counts of domestic battery. Police said the man punched another person, who was taken to Elmhurst Hospital. The suspect was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
• Police responded to a domestic disturbance about 5 p.m. Sunday in the 100 block of Virginia Lane. A woman told police that a man choked her and struck her. After he left, she noticed that two money orders and cash were missing from her purse. An investigation is pending.
