2 Elmhurst Men Accused Of Domestic Battery: Cops
The residents are charged in separate incidents at their homes, police say.
ELMHURST, IL – Two Elmhurst men were arrested on domestic battery charges in recent days, with both taken to the DuPage County Jail. Here is information from the reports:
- Thomas Karuvallikalam, 46, of Elmhurst, was arrested about 11 p.m. Thursday in the 300 bock of South West on a charge of domestic battery. According to a police report, Karuvallikalam was intoxicated and threw items in his home, striking a person. Officers said they saw him aggressively grab the person.
- Christopher Dwyer, 34, of Elmhurst, was arrested about 2 a.m. Friday in the 600 block of West Fay on two counts of domestic battery. According to a police report, Dwyer struck a man at his house. Medics responded to treat the man. Dwyer was later found and admitted to striking the person, police said.
