2 Elmhurst Men Among Latest DUI Arrests: Cops
Both men were stopped after officers responded to crashes, police said.
ELMHURST, IL – In the last few days, Elmhurst police arrested five men, including two Elmhurst residents, on DUI charges. Here is information from the reports:
- Thomas Wiesman, 69, of Elmhurst, was arrested about 10:30 p.m. at Spring and Harrison on charges of DUI and improper lane usage. Police said they stopped him after a crash. He was released on bond.
- Edward Kopsel, 76, of Elmhurst, was arrested about 4:30 a.m. Saturday in the 900 block of South Prospect on charges of DUI, reckless driving, driving too fast for conditions and damage to city property. Police said they stopped him after a single-vehicle crash. He was released on bond.
- Christian Quinonez-Cifuentes, 27, of Addison, was arrested about 9 a.m. Thursday at West and Randolph on charges of aggravated DUI, no valid driver's license and possession of marijuana by a driver. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
- Christian Ramirez Torres, 33, of Villa Park, was arrested shortly after midnight Friday on charges of DUI, driving the wrong way, transportation of open alcohol, unlawful possession of marijuana and driving an uninsured vehicle. He was released on bond.
- James Tolbert, 27, of Chicago, was arrested about 4:30 a.m. Sunday at St. Charles and Chandler on charges of DUI, driving with a revoked license and driving an uninsured vehicle. He was released on bond.
