2 Elmhurst Residents Arrested This Week

One was arrested on a domestic battery charge, while the other was accused of disorderly conduct, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – In recent days, Elmhurst police arrested people on charges of domestic battery and disorderly conduct. Here is information from the reports:

  • Joselyn Sanders, 37, of Elmhurst, was arrested about 6 a.m. Monday in the 400 block of East Park Street on a charge of domestic battery. Police said Sanders shoved a man during an argument. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
  • Tom Parchim 63, of Elmhurst, was cited about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 600 block of South Bryan Avenue on a charge of disorderly conduct. Police said Parchim admitted to threatening another person in a voicemail. He was released on bond. In 2021, Parchim was charged with two counts of domestic battery, with police accusing him of striking and strangling a woman. The incident was at the same address.
  • Marko E. Rivera, 23, of Maywood, was arrested about 9 p.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of East Columbia Avenue on a Cook County warrant. Police said they arrested Rivera after responding to a domestic disturbance. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
