2 Elmhurst Residents Charged In Domestics: Cops
One man has been arrested twice on domestic violence charges since October, police say.
ELMHURST, IL — Elmhurst police arrested two residents in the last few days on charges of domestic violence. Both were taken to the DuPage County Jail. Here is information from the police reports:
- Charles Gammill, 32, of Elmhurst, was arrested at 11 p.m. Sunday at Elmhurst University on two counts of battery. A witness told police that Gammill grabbed the victim around her neck. On Oct. 22, Gammill was arrested in the 100 block of North Elm on two counts of domestic violence. According to a police report, a victim told an officer that Gammill grabbed him by the throat and pushed a woman. Gammill left before officers arrived, but was later found and taken into custody.
- Christine Androsky, 33, of Elmhurst, was arrested about 2:30 a.m. Saturday in the 200 block of North Oaklawn on two counts of domestic battery. Officers responded to a domestic disturbance in progress. A man told an officer that Androsky scratched him in the face during a heated argument. He suffered deep cuts to the right side of his face and had minor bleeding.
