2nd Elmhurst Eatery Serves Liquor Without License: Police
Local police also cited a server for not having a license, authorities said.
ELMHURST, IL – A second Elmhurst restaurant was found this week serving alcohol without a license, local police said.
Police said they discovered that fact about 2 p.m. Monday at Charm Thai BBQ, 426 N. York St. They also said they cited a server, a 45-year-old Bensenville woman, for serving liquor without a license.
On Wednesday, Patch reported that Krafted Burger Bar, 111 E. First St., has been barred from serving alcohol for four months. In March, the state Liquor Commission said it found the restaurant had been serving alcohol for months without a state license, according to records obtained through a public records request.
