3 Cases With Intoxicated People: Elmhurst Police

Police responded to residence with several intoxicated people. One was taken to the hospital.

ELMHURST, IL — In recent days, Elmhurst police have handled three incidents involving intoxicated people. Here is information from the reports:

  • Officers responded to a report of several intoxicated women at 8:30 p.m. Thursday at a residence in the 900 block of North York Street. One of the women appeared to be highly intoxicated and unable to care for herself. The victim was accompanied by her friends, who were unsure if she had been drinking or doing drugs. Medics arrived and took the woman to Elmhurst Hospital for detoxification.
  • Officers responded to a noise complaint about 7 p.m. Saturday at the Elmhurst Terrace Apartments, 100 Fellows Court. They found a person yelling and throwing items around an apartment. The person was highly intoxicated and unable to care for herself. She was taken to Elmhurst Hospital.
  • An officer responded to Park's Champion Taekwondo, 587 N. York St., about 7 p.m. Friday because of a report of a person loitering outside the business. An officer determined the person lying on the sidewalk, breathing but unresponsive. Medics administered a dose of Narcan, a medication that treats drug overdoses, and took the victim to Elmhurst Hospital for treatment.
