3 Domestic Batteries Reported In Elmhurst

An Elmhurst man was jailed after he was accused of scratching someone else, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – In the last few days, Elmhurst police took three domestic battery reports. Here is information from the reports:

  • Paaris Kopsaftis, 38, of Elmhurst, was arrested about 9:30 p.m. Sunday in the 1100 block of Eldridge Lane on a charge of domestic battery. According to a police report, Kopsafatis scratched another person during an argument. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
  • A person reported a domestic battery that occurred about 7 a.m. Sunday in the 500 block of West Faye Avenue. The report was filed four hours later. An investigation is pending.
  • A woman told police that a person struck her about 10 a.m. Sept. 11 at St. Charles Road and Cottage Hill Avenue. The incident was reported Friday, a month and a half later. An investigation is pending.
