4 Caught In Stolen Car In Elmhurst: Cops
A drone and a K-9 unit were deployed in the search for the suspects, police said.
ELMHURST, IL – Officers arrested four people after they saw them inside a stolen car early Saturday morning in Elmhurst, police said.
About 2:30 a.m., officers saw the stolen car near City Centre, police said. The driver sped east, but the vehicle became disabled near North and Clinton avenues.
Officers took custody of one of the suspects, while the three others ran south, police said.

To find the others, Elmhurst police got the help of the postal inspector's drone unit and the state police's K-9 unit. Within an hour, the teens were found near Third Street and Geneva Avenue, police said.
The suspects arrived in Elmhurst in cars that were reported stolen in Chicago, police said.

Police did not release the suspects' names. They were taken to the police station.
